Embroidery is a meticulous craft involving the decoration of fabric with needle and thread. Unlike screen printing, it doesn't rely on ink but instead utilizes various stitches to create intricate designs. A pattern is first digitized, and the fabric is hooped securely in an embroidery machine. The machine then precisely follows the digital pattern, stitching the design onto the fabric with colored threads. Embroidery is frequently chosen for its ability to achieve detailed and textured effects, making it a preferred method for personalizing items like hats, jackets, and corporate apparel. The resulting embroidered piece is not only visually appealing but also durable, providing a sophisticated and lasting embellishment.
Cost-saving in custom apparel is essential. Our tips will help you achieve your vision without overspending.
Our pricing for embroidery is intricately tailored to the stitch count, ensuring a fair and transparent cost structure. We believe in offering our customers flexibility and value, and the stitch count directly correlates with the intricacy and detail of the embroidery. The higher the stitch count, the more precise and elaborate the design, thus influencing the overall cost.
Before the embroidery process begins, your logo undergoes a crucial step – digitization. This transformative process converts your logo into a digital format suitable for embroidery machines. The cost of digitization is also determined by the stitch count, reflecting the complexity of translating your unique design into a format that our machinery can seamlessly replicate.
It's important to note that the digitization process is specific to a single location on the garment, be it the left chest, sleeve, or hat. This ensures precision and accuracy in translating your logo onto the chosen location. At Third Coast Printing, we take pride in delivering not just embroidered apparel but a meticulous and customized representation of your brand or design, all while offering transparent pricing based on the intricacy of the stitch count.

It is recommended to keep the size of your logo as small as possible to ensure a low cost. The more detailed, and larger the logo is the more expensive the embroidery fee will be. For example, a left chest logo will be significantly cheaper than a large full back logo.
Each location that is added like a left chest, sleeve or back is like running a whole new job. For example, the embroidery fee that is included in the overall cost would be tripled for 3 locations rather than one location. Keep in mind that the size of the print in each location will affect the cost as well.
When your logo undergoes digitizing, the digitizer must re-digitize your logo anytime you change the size of the print. It can be a huge cost savings to pick a logo size that will work well for multi-locations. For example, a left chest logo can be used for a hat logo if they are the exact same size.
If a file provided to us is not in a vector format (.eps, .svg, .ai, .cdr) we will have to have a Graphic Designer vectorize your logo. This normally adds an additional $20 to your order depending on the complexity of the logo. If artwork is provided in a vector format no extra charge will be added. Files such as (.jpg, .png, .bmp) will need to be vectorized. PDF files can be used, but must not be pixelated.
